SNAP Syllabus 2025

SNAP 2025 syllabus is designed to test candidates’ speed, accuracy, and problem-solving ability within a short duration of 60 minutes. The exam has three main sections – General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. The English section focuses on grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and critical reasoning. Quantitative and DI questions cover arithmetic, algebra, geometry, number system, probability, and data analysis. The reasoning section tests logical thinking with puzzles, series, blood relations, coding-decoding, syllogisms, and analytical questions.

Since the exam is time-bound, SNAP does not have overly lengthy or advanced questions but emphasizes quick solving skills. Candidates should focus on practicing short questions, revising concepts, and improving speed to score well.

SNAP Exam Pattern 2025

SNAP 2025 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across designated test centers in India. The exam duration is 60 minutes (1 hour), making it a speed-based test with no sectional time limit. The paper consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections – General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

The marking scheme awards +1 mark for every correct answer, while -0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. Unattempted questions carry no marks. The difficulty level of SNAP is considered easy to moderate, but the limited time frame makes speed and accuracy crucial. Regular practice through mock tests and timed exercises is highly recommended to perform well in the exam.

SNAP Preparation Tips 2025

Preparing for the SNAP exam needs a smart plan because the test is only 60 minutes long, and every second counts. The key to success is time management, speed, and accuracy.

  • Start your preparation by practicing previous year question papers. This will help you understand the exam pattern, type of questions, and difficulty level.
  • For the General English section, focus on improving your reading speed and vocabulary. Read newspapers, articles, and practice comprehension exercises daily
  • In the Quantitative section, strengthen your basics in arithmetic and algebra. Revise important formulas and practice short-cut methods to save time during the exam.
  • For the Logical Reasoning section, solve puzzles, series, and reasoning-based questions regularly. This will help you think faster and improve problem-solving skills.
  • Taking mock tests is very important. They allow you to practice within the actual time limit, build speed, and check your accuracy. After each test, analyze your mistakes and work on weak areas.
  • Finally, keep revising important topics regularly instead of learning something new at the last moment. A mix of practice, revision, and mock tests will give you the confidence to perform well in SNAP 2025.

SNAP Answer Keys 2025

SNAP exam does not release any official answer keys on its website. Unlike some other management entrance exams, candidates will not find an official set of answers to check their performance. However, soon after the exam, many coaching institutes and experts publish memory-based question papers with answer keys prepared from the responses shared by students. These answer keys are not official but can be very helpful for candidates. By using them, students can get an idea of the correct answers, calculate their estimated score, and predict their chances of admission before the official results are out.

Since SNAP 2025 will be held in multiple sessions, the exam authority uses a normalization process while preparing the final result. This ensures fairness for all test-takers, as difficulty levels may vary across sessions. Candidates should wait for the official result for accurate scores.

SNAP Exam Results 2025

The results of SNAP 2025 will be announced on 9 January 2026, through the official website of SNAP. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check their results online by logging in with their SNAP ID and password. The result will be available in the form of a scorecard, which can be downloaded for future use.

The SNAP 2025 scorecard will show important details such as the candidate’s section-wise scores, overall score, and percentile. This score is valid for admission to all the management programs offered by the 16 Symbiosis institutes across India. Based on the SNAP result, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage of the admission process, which includes the Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interaction (PI). Performance in these rounds, along with the SNAP score, will determine the final admission. Candidates are advised to download and keep multiple copies of their scorecard, as it will be required during the admission process and counseling rounds at Symbiosis institutes.

SNAP 2025 Cutoff

The SNAP 2025 cutoff is the minimum score or percentile required by Symbiosis institutes to shortlist candidates for the further admission rounds. Each of the 16 Symbiosis institutes sets its own cutoff depending on factors like the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability.

Generally, top institutes like SIBM Pune and SCMHRD set higher cutoffs above the 95 percentile, while other Symbiosis institutes may keep their cutoffs in the 70–90 percentile range. Candidates who meet the required cutoff will be shortlisted for the next stages of the admission process, including Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interaction (PI). The cutoffs are announced after the declaration of SNAP 2025 results on 9 January 2026.

Institute Expected SNAP 2025 Cutoff
SIBM Pune 97–98%
SCMHRD Pune 94–96%
SIIB Pune 88–90%
SIBM Bangalore 88–90%
SIOM Nashik 80–85%
SITM Pune 70–75%

SNAP Counselling Process 2025

The counselling process for SNAP 2025 will start soon after the results are declared on  9 January 2026. Candidates who score equal to or above the cutoff marks set by different Symbiosis institutes will be shortlisted for the next stage. The process includes three main rounds such as Group Exercise, Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview(PI). These rounds are conducted at the Symbiosis institutes where the candidates have applied.

In the Group Exercise, students are given tasks or topics to check their teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The Written Ability Test is held to test candidates’ writing ability, clarity of thought, and analytical skills. The Personal Interaction round helps evaluate a candidate’s communication skills, confidence, and overall personality.

After these rounds, a final merit list is prepared. The weightage is given to SNAP exam score, performance in GE-PI-WAT, academic background, and work experience (if any). Based on this merit list, selected candidates are offered admission into MBA and PGDM programs across Symbiosis institutes. This process ensures that students are not judged only on exam marks but also on their skills, personality, and overall potential.
