Madras University UG Admission 2026

The UNOM admission process will commence from 05 April 2026* for the AY 2026-27, and the University offers a BSc course in various specializations like physics, chemistry, and mathematics for a duration of 3 years. The course is divided into a semester system to simplify the curriculum. The eligibility criteria to pursue this course are to have a 10+2 from a recognised state board or central board in the relevant subject.

Interested students can gain admission into this course by submitting a registration fee of INR 2,000 at the time of the admission process. There will be an entrance exam that is conducted by the university’s department in online mode. This exam has to be qualified for by the applicants to book their seats for a regular degree.

Madras University PG Admission 2026

The admission process at Madras University for PG courses will start in the month of April for the 2026 session. The university provides various courses to the undergraduates, such as MBA, MCA, MA, MSc, and so on. The basic eligibility criterion to pursue these courses is to have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a UGC-approved university.

Madras University PhD Admission 2026

The University of Madras offers 3-year PhD programs in various 70 departments like Engineering, Botany, Chemistry, Arts & Culture, etc. The University conducts an entrance examination and a personal interview for the Doctor of Philosophy program. The admission portal for the UNOM PhD program will open in August 2026* for the academic session 2026-27.
